An Analysis of Vibration for Airborne Neonatal Transport Incubator

Featured Speaker: Reza  Aghili
Lab Manager (Rank - ESCG)
Vibration and Acoustic Test Facility (VATF)
Johnson Space Center (JSC) / NASA

Overview:  A study is being performed to minimize the environmental effects of transportation on neonates. When premature children are born away from the hospital, they are transported to the Texas Children's Hospital to be cares for. The neonates are extremely sensitive to the environmental effects, and this study seeks to understand the sources and minimize the effects of sources such as vibration and noise. This  presentation discusses the results of the studies made at the Texas Children's Hospital and the Johnson Space Center Vibration and Acoustic Test Facility.
