Brand New Articles

Fellow BMAF member: Since our conference we have had several
excellent new articles submitted and they are now on the website
(www.bmaf.org) for your enjoyment. They include:

1. An outstanding article by Dr. Ted Stoddard titled, "“It Will Not
Be a Bad Plan to Compare Mr. Stephens’ Ruined Cities with Those in the
Book of Mormon”: Outcomes of Joseph Smith’s Reactions to the Writings
of John Lloyd Stephens" Dr. Stoddard tackles the claim of the
Heartland model followers that Joseph Smith was not the author of very
precise statements appearing in the Times and Season pointing us to
Mesoamerica.

2. Dr. John L. Lund's chronology of the whereabouts of Joseph Smith
between March 1st, 1842 and November 15th, the period when his
statements about Mesoamerica appear in the Times and Seasons
newspaper.

3. Two articles by Chris Heimerdinger, author of several Book of
Mormon fiction stories.

4. A transcript of Dr. Joseph Allen's conference presentation titled,
"The Jaredites and the Isthmus of Tehuantepec."

5. "Archaeology and Cumorah Questions" by Dr. John E. Clark

6. "The Need for Evidence of a High-Level Written Language in the New
World" by Dr. Ted Stoddard plus several more new articles to add to
your gospel study time.
