August 07 Meeting

Hi Everybody,

July's meeting was great! Marcellus Duffy gave us a great overview of
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 as well as tips and tricks.
Trying to fit a MOSS explanation into 2 hours is like drinking from a
fire hose. Maybe we will convince Marcellus to return to dig a little
deeper into developing Web Parts for MOSS. More swag was given away
(including Microsoft Office 2007) and the pizza and pop was great.

Our August 2007 meeting will take place on Tuesday the 14th. TEK
Systems has been gracious enough to sponsor August's meeting. We are
looking for a speaker for August. I may do a "short" presentation on
how I use the CodeSmith code generation tool to quickly develop the
business layer and data layer of my projects. If you have a
presentation you would be interested in doing, let me know. It doesn't
have to take up a lot of time.

Let me know if you feel comfortable with doing a walk-through of some
of the new features Visual Studio 2008, I think that would be very
interesting.

Thanks again for everyone's support and participation. This group will
be as good as we make it.
