Need volunteers for the upcoming Car Show to benefit the Chapel

Hey BLOKES:
The BLOKES and the Chapel are sponsoring a Car Show on June 5, from 10am-3pm
to raise money for the chapel. The chapel lost several of their regular
renters this year, as well as the regular income they used to receive from
the City for use of the Chapel.

Hey BLOKES, The BLHA could use your help on Saturday morning (9:00am) at the beach for a morning of clean-up and fix-up. If you can join us, please bring gloves and maybe a rake if you have one... We could also use a mulching mower, chain saw, and an extension ladder (>24') - if you can bring one of these please let me know.... more »

Third Annual Chili Cook-off

Hey BLOKES, It's get cooler outside, and that means it's time for some red-hot Chili! Somebody has got to best Tevis - our winner for both 2007 and 2008. Rumor-has-it that he's cookin' up some seafood chili this year... We traditionally hold the cook-off behind the chapel right after the Fall Festival. Hey BLOKES, The beach is looking pretty nice. I you haven't seen all the improvements, you should stop by (and congratulate/thank Steve). Join us next Wednesday night for some cold adult beverages (BYOB) and food if you wish to eat. Weather permitting (Taco Mac is the rain location).
