First I wanted to thanks everyone for getting back to me about your
hosting providers; the information was very helpful to us.
We have been digging through the pipes and have made a few fixes, and
so I'd like to check in and see if FTP is working for you guys. So how
many of you folks are still seeing problems publishing?
Much thanks, I'll be watching this thread closely ;-)
I just tried writing a new post and it uploaded fine! Thanks for
fixing! Although I have a strange issue where one of my blog posts
images refuse to load no matter what I do...I'll mess around and write
back. Thanks again!
My provider uses SSL/TLS but over port 21, not port 22. Blogger only
does SSL over port 22. Is there any way you can let us configure which
port to use?
Pictures are uploading fine now, and posts are publishing - however,
the publish tool doesn't seem to realise this, so it's still giving me
the 'Your publish is taking longer than expected' dialogue, and
doesn't complete. (This is a much less aggravating problem that the no
pictures/no publishing one was!)

I'm still having problems. Instead of taking forever and never
posting, it now says "posted with errors" but there's nothing there.
Host is globat.com.

It seems as though the major FTP problems have resolved at this point,
albeit with a few lingering issues that have popped up within this
thread. My guess is that within the next couple hours, you folks will
see things essentially back to normal.
If things still haven't resolved within a few hours (especially for
the folks with the 'org.apache' erros) chime back in here and we'll
dig deeper. Thanks again for all of your patience,
I'm getting a publish that doesn't seem to want to end.
I keep getting "Your publish is taking longer than expected. To
continue waiting for it to finish, click here." So I do.
When I opt to show transfer details, I see:
110% Publishing files to your blog...
Uploading via FTP to gardenplotter.com
Show transfer details... Hide transfer details...
287 of 260 files completed
10M of 9M uploaded
If I view my log (in a new window) I see that the post I created today
has NOT uploaded.
My website is gardenplotter.com/rospo/blog
It's hosted by hostmonster.com
When I originally posted, I had put a future timestamp on the entry,
and so it showed up as "scheduled". I didn't want to wait so I clicked
"Publish now" and that's when things just hung and I apparently
uploaded more files than I had :)
I went back and changed the timestamp in the post options to a time in
the past (a couple of minutes past) and it published quickly and
without incident.
So it looks like there's a problem with a future timestamp and
"publish now".

Hey Gatsby. I am still not able to publish anything. I haven't been
able to since April 10th. However I happy to see that Blogger is
finally looking into the matter. Hope I will be able to publish
really soon.

hi, i am not on FTP but on regular blogger, but i also get a lot of
errors, basically, i cannot edit the blog's layout in add page element
or edit html page, it just keeps looping like loading forever but
won't really load and its not a connection problem since i can go to
all aspects of blogger like writing and publishing blogposts,etc..only
the LAYOUT page is not loading entirely. i can see the navigation menu
but not the page elements/widgets at all, they don't load but just
keeps on looping to load but not really loading.. the first time such
magnitude of error for me in blogger in my 3 years with you!what a
pity. There is really something wrong in your end. and i hope you wait
for others to really report said problems by clearly posting a Contact
Us page, than just calling a problem solved with haste even without
asking for the opinions of the end users.
I checked with Globat. It seems they have a major problem there. You
should contact their technical services and report it. I did but so
far no results. I have not been able to post now since the 19th.
Regards, Rick

Hope you folks will be able to get this going. I have not been able to
publish now since the 19th.
I have some customers who advertise on my blog and they are not happy
campers !!!
