I have rarely ever had trouble deciphering letters/numbers in the word
graphics used for word verification when posting protected blogs.
However, today, with 3 straight tries, I could not decipher the
letters. I completely understand the need for security and for this
verification, but the verification words need to be legible.
I agree. The recent change in the word verification with the mixture
of wide and thin swirled letters is making it near impossible to read.
I've had to try up to 4 different times. with 120 blogs to read and
comment on, this new word verification style is really a chore.

I agree as well. The change in word verification is ridiculous. I
read and comment on several blogs and the new style makes it all but
impossible to read. I'd really love to go back to the old style or
even explore other options for verification. This is just bogus.

Not only that, but I decided to try the audio word verification to see
if it might be easier. The fact is, it was even more garbled than the
visual one. We need a fix here.

I have turned off mine - it just makes it impossible to comment.
Several experienced bloggers now refuses to comment on pages that uses
word verification. Maybe I'll turn on moderation or just quit blogger.

Thanks for your two cents; I'll bounce your concerns off some other
folks on the Blogger Team and we'll take another look at our current
word verification process.
Please keep the feedback coming though, it is always helpful to hear
from you guys :-)
I agree with all the previous commenters. I turned my word
verification OFF today; there are a TON of complaints about the
"feature" (and this one IS a bug, NOT a feature...) all over blogger-
blogs. I've never had trouble previously, but the new word pictures
are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to read.

I have had to tell a lot of people that I will no longer visit or
comment on their blogs as it takes too much time to try and decipher
the alphabets Blogger has decided to use. Most people who want to see
me show up on their blogs have turned off Word Verification as I did.
I don't like it and can't find anybody who does.

I ditto this concern - just updated my blog and basically punched past
six or seven gobbledygooks before even trying to read and enter the
verification text.

This word verfication sucks. It needs to be change. The letters are
often too difficult to read and overlap each other. In come cases, the
letters keyed in are correct but are rejected. Terrible Service
