I know posting images to blogs has been a bit of a headache for some users - your comments and discussions have not gone unnoticed! I want to assure you all that the Blogger engineers are on the case and actively trying to track down some Safari and Internet Explorer bugs. In that vein, the more information we can gather on these difficulties you're experiencing, the better. For example, if you receive a script error, please copy the text of the error and share it with us. Or, if your browser crashes, let us know what browser you're using and when you started experiencing difficulties. Your information will help us to pinpoint specific causes as we continue to investigate these issues.
In the meantime, as we've mentioned before, using Firefox ( www.mozilla.com/firefox ) has proven to be a successful workaround for many of these image uploading difficulties.
As for image uploading on migrated beta accounts, we want to caution that uploading images through Picasa is currently not supported. However, our engineers are aware of this limitation with Picasa in the beta release of Blogger and we are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. (This goes for Flickr, too - please see this post: http://groups.google.com/group/blogger-help-customizing/browse_frm/th...)
Thanks for your patience and understanding - you all are blogstars!

Yeah, its only been...what...a year...15 months? And millions of MSIE users have to switch to Firefux just so they can upload images to their blogs?
I guess its just our problem and not Google/Blogger's problem. I mean, we're all using something incompatible with Blogger, so we'd better switch to something that works.
Hei, Firefox is a good choice, a big improvement over IE in my honest opinion. It is only now that Microsoft is trying to catch up (and haven't yet). Look at my site for the advantages of Firefox: http://firefox-alert.blogspot.com
You uploaded a photo, and it said done, but you check and it is not there
So the solution is easy, download mozilla firefox to solve the problem. It is blogger.com problem of the beta causing the problem, I use old blogger(not beta) don't have this problem. This photo upload problem is on and off, sometime can and sometime it is just no there after you click done button on photo upload window.
After I pressed the DONE button after the photo uploading, in the status bar says error on page. These are the details: Line: 34 Char: 5 Error: Permission denied Code: 0 URL: http://beta.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=18062126
With firefox 2 of my blogs are completely mixed up and show an old template I don't use since more then a week. The last posts don't appear. With IE everything is OK. I cleared caches but Firefox just doesn't work properly. Had the same when openening a friends blog.
I'm having intermittent problems uploading images - I have 2 blogs and images upload to one of them fine but not the other one (well, today, at least). I'm using IE at work and don't have the option to dowload Firefox (which is what I use at home).
What happens when I upload images: It says "Done" but no images are uploaded.
I have tried uploading my photos through both IE and Firefox, and nothing helps. In IE, I either get a time-out window, or do reach the "Done" button, but then nothing shows up in the post window. In Firefox, I see the "Loading" message, but then the error message comes on to say that connection was reset during upload.
arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
I have wasted so much time the last few days trying to upload a few photos, it's making me mad. I sent emails to the Blogger support group, but no answer past the automated message.
Dear Blogger Employee! Pease, let me know how the visitors to my blog can upload pictures. Because when you click on Blog This the editor that opens only aloows to type text no adding any files... Please, help! Thank you.
I hit this problem today, while I was testing the features in both Blogger and Explorer Beta. Says images are done blah blah...All my images are *kb/.png. It didn't spaz until I uploaded 3 or more at a time.
Sometimes, I can tab to another window and it will appear. Or I preview one of my other images. Change the name to the one I tried to upload. See if it is there (worked for me couple times) but didn't show. If it's blank, upload again.
If it still won't go, I copy the text I already have and close the window/browser. Create new post. With these steps, I managed to get all my images uploaded (so far).
I don't know if this is helpful, but what happens when I (using Internet Explorer) try to upload is that I get about 1/3 circle of the progress "wheel" (about 2 seconds) followed by a "click" after which the bar at the bottom of the screen says "Done". After that, I get a screen that says the image is uploaded and prompts me to go back to my post, but the image isn't there. At first, I was sure the "hang" was because of my machine, so I did diagnostic checks, virus scans, etc., and even disabled my popup blockers and set my security level to "low", all to no avail.
So it's been a week, and IE6, Firefox, Opera, and Netscape - all yield pretty much no results in uploading photos to my blog..... I managed to post a couple of photos yesterday, but that is after spending about 2 hours on that....
It is obviously not a matter of switching to a different browser. Is there any update from the blogger team on what they think the issue is?

When I switched over to the new beta version of Blogger the upload to existing posts started to work again. For a week it would only upload images as I was in the process of creating new posts.
ok, i don't want to jinx it, but I just tried something and it worked! I managed to post 4 photos on the 1st attempt: I made the images smaller (about 1000x1500 pixels). I am not sure if it's really the solution, but it might also help some of you, hopefully, if you were, like me, trying to upload very large files.
I will keep my fingers crossed that this will work from now on, or that Blogger will simply fix the glitch.
I always use firefox, and I had troubles uploading images all day yesterday; today, my blog appears partly hosed (just reported to support). I added a response to a comment (which appeared to fail) and now only part of my blog's main page loads.
Firefox (at least for some of us) isn't the universal answer to the photo posting problem...
And, a quick followup -- my blog is no longer partly hosed (the whole thing loads, now) but the behavior from yesterday continues... the "add image" button doesn't trigger the pop up for the image upload (despite my pop up settings being the same as always).
