I've had about 5 comments on my blog today that I have not gotten a
notification email about- and two comments that I have been notified
about, so it is inconsistent.
These are not comment-moderation emails, just notifications

I have the same problem. Do you all have gmail accounts that you use
for this?
Same as the google account mail ..
I think the problem is in that area ..
The really wierd thing is that if I reply to a comment I get email
notification for the reply. Now thats nice and useful :).
Hope to see some progress on this problem. Useless to have comments
activated without it...

a peek to see what's going on. Would you mind posting some info for
me, including:
- What email service are you using? (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, etc.)
- Is it specifically comment notifications you're having a problem
with, or is it another sort of notification too?
- Are you getting 0% of the notifications you are supposed to receive,
or some percentage of the notifications?
- What is your blog URL?
Let me know and we'll do some investigation.

I also am not getting email notifications sent to me, one out of every
5 come in and that's it. I use Comcast as my email account. Also,
when I publish the comments from my dashboard, usually I get the
"published comment" sent to my emails, they aren't coming
either....hope it gets fixed soon.

notification was the first problem that I noticed; however, my
Analytics data did not update at all for the 24 hours ending December
24, when several of the missing comments were left. Could both
problems be related?

comments I myself leave in response to other comments.

1) Email server = AOL
2) The specific problem is comment notification.
3) I am getting no notifications except for comments posted by myself
or another blogger using his registered email addy.

Hi Jordan. I'm having the same problem. Here are my answers to your
questions:
- What email service are you using? Yahoo!
- Is it specifically comment notifications you're having a problem
with, or is it another sort of notification too?
I've only noticed problems with comment notifications.
- Are you getting 0% of the notifications you are supposed to receive,
or some percentage of the notifications?
I received a notification for one comment that I posted myself. Other
than that, I have not received any notifications for any of the
comments I received today. I believe I have received about 10
comments today.
- What is your blog URL? <a href="http://

This is a big problem because I often get comments on very old posts
and the notifications are the only way for me to know about them.
There are 151 posts on my blog and I can't check every one for new
comments!

Jordan, one more thing: readers commenting my blog would like to leave
their site address - this feature was enabled few days ago, and now is
missing. Please, investigate it either.
