Re the fix. If you look at older blog posts (before this issue) you'll
notice that all the html is the same as the fix (ie 'h' instead of 'R'
and the same code in both urls).............so presumably when google
fix it any blog posts that have been corrected with the workround
should still be ok. The fix merely manually reverts the html back to
what it should have been in the first place. If that makes sense.
The problem is obviously the actual uploading of
photos.........something happens to the html that didn't happen before
and we have to go back and correct it..........
Surprised it's taken so long for google to fix it. Mind you let's not
forget blogger is FREE. If I'd paid for it I wouldn't be quite so
level-headed......

This problem is still not fixed for image widgets. I had a perfectly
good image widget loaded as a banner and now it is pixelated sh!t
because I tried to upload a slightly tweaked image. No work around has
been suggested for widgets. Please fix this. I would like an image for
my top banner.

Well, it is NOT fixed for me!!! Once again, for about the fourth time,
this is the problem:
We're coming up on at least day 4 of this and there doesn't seem to
be
any end in sight. As I posted before, the manual fix doesn't work for
me because I'm trying to upload a photograph at the bottom of the
blog
where the template says "Add a Page Element." When you click on that,
you are then given a menu where you can click on "adding a
photograph," either one that's on your computer or one from the web.
Both of these options, when clicked, add the image automatically and
don't give you the option to mess with the html of the image. YOU
SHOULD KNOW THAT! Also, both of those options don't work. When you
try
to upload an image using either option, the image is blurry and
pixelated. There really is no way for this "workaround" to work when
you are using the "Add a Page Elemnet" menu. So, basically, we're
sunk
until someone "out there" helps us. Please, I put a lot of work into
my blog. Don't let it die this way.
Blogger, PLEASE at least acknowledge that this is a problem and that
someone is taking a look at it!
This came back and started working again yesterday, but today's post
is broken again. I checked the image URL and it looks correct as in
the fix that was given, but the image doesn't show. At least it didn't
break ALL the images this time.

The pixelated photo issue seems to be a separate issue, and one that
I've already been investigating on other threads. For further
discussion of this issue, would you mind heading over to the following
thread?
