I went to Blogger because it was touted as being easy to use and after
all, it's with GOGGLE..so how bad could it be?
Well, I created a blog, set it up with a custom domain name, followed
all the directions from GoDaddy, where I bought the name, and from
Blogger to point everyone to the custom domain. THE SITE NEVER
PUBLISHED. Is there a customer service person to TALK to about the
issue? No - all we get is a place to post our quests and HOPE that
someone can help us.
I went back to Go Daddy, took the name back from Blogger and, using
WordPress, had my blog published in less than an hour.
After my site was up and running - I came back here, selected the same
name and using the free Blog services, published the blog whose ONLY
post is: go to www.progressiveoutlook.com. It serves one purpose and
one purpose only: to keep people from using a name that I PAID for.
So what happens? It gets tagged as being spam.
My site is NOT spam - it doesn't even have any information! It simply
points users to the real blog since this site could not ever get it
published.

I have been investigating getting around the same problem i've now
been reading about for two days. I purchased the domain and when i
try to enter the custom domain name, i can't. it says another blog is
already hosting this address.
I'd like to find a solution or cancel! can anyone help. I thought
this was supposed to be easy, but it's not.
