Hi,

I am trying to get a blog url as elbis.blogspot.com, but it says that
it is not available. Now, no such blog actually exists
(http://elbis.blogspot.com).

Could anybody tell me why this url is not available inspite of the fact
that this blog is not present? Is there any way i can get this url?

do this:

blogger has a glitch there. go and choose whatever url, just so you
enter the dashboard, if i think it is what i think it is.. then you
should have the url that you created and that ur in your dashboard
too... it happens all the time.. open the elbis if is there and make a
test post and put it a template.. every time that happens the blogspot
domain that get shafted don´t has nothing in it...

you can now erase the other domain you just used to access the
dashboard.

If a blog is deleted, the name is "held onto" for a time by Blogger
before being released back "into the wild" for others to use.
