Subject: Blog URL address "not available"
Hi I'm trying to create a blog called icgirl.blogspot.com, but it says
the address is not available. However, it doesn't seem to exist
anywhere.  I wonder if the content is assumed inappropriate?  (IC is
short for a bladder disease, Interstitial Cystitis, and I intend for
this to be an informative blog about the disease.)  I have my heart set
on this name.  Any help?  I saw a suggested course of action on a
previous post but couldn't begin to follow it - something about opening
up any blogger URL and going from there?

Improvise.  Adapt.  Add a letter.  Add a word to the url: ThatIcgirll
TheIcgirl?  Icgirl2?  IcgirlUSA?  you consider.  You didn't take over
that url name in a former life, did you?  Maybe you're the one who has
it?

Anyway, It's not "inappropriate" in Blogger; almost nothing is.

Yeah... That is happening to me too and what makes it much more
difficult to give the name up is that No Blog shows up if you search
for it! I'm thinking maybe someone has them as secondary blogs, being
published inside other blogs (as i read it's possible)... that's a
shame, really...
I tried that previous post suggestion too but it didn't work for me,
there was no blog with the url i chose first in my dashboard.
Well, We can always hope it's a temporary thing and that matbe tomorrow
it's possible to have that url! lol
Anyway, Good Luck! :-)

Is there anyway for the Blogger staff to "clean house"?

The blog address that I want is a "test blog" which includes one post
from the year 2000.

Aside from the ridiculous occurence of nonexistent blogs taking up
addresses, this also seems like the sort of thing that shouldn't happen.
