DAY3

A superb multi-media presentation highlighted the successes of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism going "from strength to strength".

WUPJ past leaders receive an aliyah with Rabbi Maya Leibovitz (2nd from left).
(L-R) Steve Breslauer, Rabbi Richard Hirsch, Ruth Cohen, Austin Beutel, Steve Bauman.

Undoubtedly for everyone who was there, the personal high point of Connections 2013 was the Shabbat morning service in Blaustein Hall overlooking the walls of the Old City - a spiritual pinnacle in every sense.
(Photos above by Sigal Segev).

Our delegates enjoyed every aspect of Jerusalem during a multiplicity of guided walks on Shabbat afternoon.

Netzer connects all participants in a magical Havdallah to conclude Shabbat.

Click on the picture above to see a short video clip of the Havdallah service.

Later this week WUPJ will send a full newsletter with photos and stories from this wonderful Connections 2013 conference, including links to all our keynotes in full and the conference photographer's website.

We want your photos from Connections 2013! Please send them to wup...@wupj.org.

Sincerely,

World Union for Progressive Judaism
