Connections 2013 participants in Hirsch Theater, listening to Rabbi Rick Jacobs. A superb multi-media presentation highlighted the successes of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism going "from strength to strength". WUPJ past leaders receive an aliyah with Rabbi Maya Leibovitz (2nd from left). (L-R) Steve Breslauer, Rabbi Richard Hirsch, Ruth Cohen, Austin Beutel, Steve Bauman.  Undoubtedly for everyone who was there, the personal high point of Connections 2013 was the Shabbat morning service in Blaustein Hall overlooking the walls of the Old City - a spiritual pinnacle in every sense.
