Update hangs System Preferences

to Blacktree: Secrets
Subject says it all.
After d/ling the update via auto-alert and double-clicking the pref
pane to install, System Prefs opened and Secrets was hung in a loop
attempting to update again.
Neither button offered was active and the Quit menu in SP was
unreachable necessitating a force quit of the System Prefs app.
iMac 2.4 Ghz c2d/4GB RAM/10.5.2
