Can Quicksilver help me turn the '=' key into Eject?

I have a USB numpad that I want to assign certain functions to,
specifically Eject and option+Eject. (I would've used a programmable
USB keypad but those cost $150 compared to $3 for a numpad.) Problem
is, numpads don't have any modifier keys on them.

I can't see how to make Quicksilver assign a vanilla key as a trigger
hot key. It has to be a modifier combination or a function key. (As a
workaround, I tried using Ukelele to convert the '=' key into a
function key, but I'm experiencing problems with that too.)

This computer already has Quicksilver installed, so I'd like to
utilize it. If all else fails I'll install KeyRemapForMacbook, but
it's just more memory hogging and I'm concerned about potential
conflicts.

You could create a trigger that runs the eject script and assign it to some key+modifier.
First pane: eject
Second Pane: run

Make sure you’re running the last update available!

That's the problem, I can't use a modifier. I need a trigger with a
normal key only, no modifier.
