i've used quicksilver with tiger for a few years and trying to get it
set up on snow leopard. everything's working great except the google
trigger. i can save the trigger as google quicksearch and the the
action is "search for", but when i try and use the trigger, it always
seems to default to the action "open url." its just one more step that
i did not have using the old q.s. when i quit and relaunch q.s., the
trigger is still there, i don't think anything is corrupt, i just
think i am doing something wrong. anybody have any ideas? thanks

I had a similar problem when “starting from scratch”. I just moved the “Search for…” and “Find with…” actions up higher than “Open URL”.

Of course, a trigger should use the action to gave it, not the default, so I can’t explain that one. It’s possible that adjusting the precedence will help that too.

Because it screws up the order in which people normally read text.

that worked perfectly. i just moved it right above the open url
command. so weird, eh? thanks for the tip.

I have a similar problem, but moving the "search for" and "find with"
actions up didn't do the trick. Every time I use the trigger it sends
me straight to google. Any other ideas?
