Hello,

Hoping to find some help with a strange problem I've having. I'm
running OS X 10.6.2, Quicksilver β56a7 (3825), and VMWare Fusion
3.0.1. When Quicksilver is running I can't input any keystrokes into
a VMWare window. The mouse works fine but not the keyboard. If I
quit Quicksilver everything works fine.

Seems like I'm missing some type of conflict between the two. I've
searched multiple times on the internet for similar issues /
resolution and can't find anything. I'm hopeful this group has some
suggestions on how to fix this.

Thanks,
Shawn

I had a problem with 3.0 recently where typing into the virtual machine didn't work. I didn't think to check QS.

Have you tried restarting the VM?
It's probably a conflict between hotkey registering or something like that.

Patrick,
Yes, I've restarted the VM and made sure everything was patched and up
to date. The problem is very predictable.

I thought the same thing you did about a keyboard conflict but it
doesn't seem to make much difference what I change in QS or in
VMWare. Normal keystokes as well as control keys (e.g. CTRL-ALT-DEL)
don't get passed to the VM. Turn off QS and everything works great
again.

If you have any other ideas.. sure would appreciate them.

Shawn
