Help with Plugin to search Google Docs

First of all, I've searched but can't find a QS plugin that searches
Google Documents and Spreadsheets. I've been using a similar plugin
in Spotlight for sometime called Precipitate (http://code.google.com/p/
precipitate/). But if anyone knows of a QS plugin for this, let me
know.

Otherwise, I wanted to see if anyone(s) would be willing in helping me
create one. I'm interested in creating a QS plugin myself for this,
but I've never coded a QS plugin or even used Xcode. I'm not looking
for hand holding (I'm willing to do the learning and research), but
it'd be nice if someone(s) with experience would be willing to answer
occasional emails when I get stuck. Just let me know.

I've been using Spotlight and QS about equally, but I much prefer QS
over Spotlight or the Google Quick Search Box thing. Spotlight's Top
Hit just gets things wrong too often. Google often doesn't even have
some of the results I want. But Quicksilver gets it right nearly
every single time I search.

Are you able to do this search using a plain old google search in your
browser? If so, you could use the Web Search plugin to do this easily
enough. You may need to set up a specific search if Google Docs and
Spreadsheets isn't already included in the (very large) default list.

Hey Jon! Thanks for the easy idea...I should've thought of that.

Google Docs is not in the blacktree Web Searches list, but I just
added a Safari bookmark to:

http://docs.google.com/?pli=1#search/***

And that did the trick. Ideally, I wish I could see the search
results directly in Quicksilver (like I can in Spotlight)...BUT, this
is sufficient!

Use the Show Search Results for Search... action.

Again, more details in the manual that Jon cited.

Right. I tried that right away, but actual results aren't shown. QS
scans the page and only displays links like Terms, Privacy, Copyright,
etc.

I'll check the manual, though, maybe there's more I'm missing.

I suspect that Google uses some advanced code of some sort for Google
Docs that goes beyond QS's ability to interpret.
