Quicksilver not accepting input under Snow Leopard

to Blacktree: Quicksilver
Quicksilver is not letting me type anything into its command window. My hotkey works and I am shown "Type to search" input window, however I can't actually enter any text from the keyboard. I have tried Beta 57 and 58. I am running OSX 10.6.2. I'll raise an issue on Github if no one has any advice. Thanks for any help.

to Blacktree: Quicksilver
So when you activate QS and type something nothing happens? You should see what you type in a little window right below the window that says "type to search" (that box happens to be where icons are displayed). What happens when you press the period key. That should overlay a text entry window where the icon view is.
