I'm wondering about the background color of the "Large type" action.
From Quicksilver, this color is (sort of) dark purple, whereas from
the Apple's Address Book application, it's dark gray. I'd like to know
if there is a way to change the Quicksilver background color so as it
matches the one of the Address Book.

I've found this piece of code which looks related to this problem :

http://www.google.com/codesearch/p?hl=en&sa=N&cd=1&ct=rc#dXKTFGuz97A/trunk/Crucible/Code/QSLargeTypeDisplay.m&q=QSShowLargeType%20package:http://blacktree-alchemy%5C.googlecode%5C.com&l=15

And the "QSAppearance1B" color is set in the QSDefault.plist file :

<key>QSAppearance1B</key>
<data>
BAt0eXBlZHN0cmVhbYED6IQBQISEhAdOU0NvbG9yAISECE5TT2JqZWN0AIWEAWMBhARm
ZmZmgz4HtDaDPcv0R4M+SlKUgz9MzM2G
</data>

But I don't understand how to change this value… Can someone help me?
Thanks!

BM.

The colour of the large type display is tied to the colour of the
command window bezel. Change the colour of the bezel to dark grey, and
QS' large type display will also be changed. So you can set it to
whatever you like.

In the Appearance preferences, it’s the first row, first column of the 9 color pickers.
