Entourage Contacts do not Automatically Refresh in Quicksilver Catalogue After Restart

I am accessing my Entourage contacts through Quicksilver and then
using Quicksilver to open up an Entourage email. Works very well,
except the Entourage contacts in the Catalogue seem to need to be
refreshed manually each time I restart my computer. Anyway to avoid
having to do this?

I don't know why that is, but a simple workaround (that has many other
benefits besides) is to set Entourage to sync its contacts with
Address Book. The option to do this is in Entourage's preferences
somewhere. Once you set it, Address Book will always have the same set
of contacts that you have in Entourage. And QS will index them
properly and regularly by reading Address Book.

Thanks for this idea John. I now have Entourage syncing contacts with
Address book and QS DOES AUTOMATICALLY index Address book fine but I
can't send emails from this and Entourage is still not being indexed
automatically by QS.Is there another step or am I missing something?

So I found a way to take advantage of Jon's workaround for using
Address book, which does automatically refresh and to send emails with
Quicksilver through Entourage

Open QS
Type "." to get the text entry box
type message (you can get line breaks using option Return
Tab
Select Email to (Send)
Tab
start typing contacts name
Address book finds your contact
Select
Hit Enter and an Entourage email is sent instantly!!

Just great. QS rides again.
