I'm on vacation for the rest of the week :) so I won't make it. I can give a quick update though...

RSolr is now doing POSTs (version 0.9.6) like: solr.request('/select', :q=>'dog', :method=>:post)
 - I have yet to integrate that into BL
Added some additional features to the template script... but have not added it to BL -- will do so after my vaca.

I love the beach... over and out,
Matt

Matt has fixed this in rsolr, but it isn't built into the plugin yet.
It will be in the next few weeks, though.
Simultaneously, Erik Hatcher pointed out that you could fix jetty to
allow longer get urls, and Naomi tried this and it worked.

Matt is out of town for a couple of weeks, and he'll update this when
he gets back.

Vernon is on it, but we will postpone the move to git until Matt gets
back and we can figure out whether the template installation procedure
is going to work. The switch is tentatively re-scheduled for October 7.

Everyone agrees with the community principles, but people need to
express their agreement in public on the list, and we all agree to do
so.

> 5. JIRA review

We just did a review last week and not much has changed, so skipping.

Advanced search from Jessie: Yay! We love it. Jessie is working on
removing some of the solr params from the URLs. They're trying to
genericize this so that it's as easy as possible to build an advanced
search w/out a lot of custom code. They're working on putting it back
into the core plugin.
