Hi all. Kristen from Brooklyn staff with an urgent request from a
friend of our church family who's daughter is coming to the city for
an internship. Her original housing fell through and she needs a place
to live for 6-10 weeks.

She is willing to pay something, and could live in more than one place
if needed. Read below for more info, and contact her father (Ron) if
you have or know of something that might work.

Thanks!

My daughter is Susan, 24 years old, is currently is on an Amtrak train
to NYC from Virginia with 2 duffel bags and a back pack. She has a 6
to 10 week internship in Brooklyn with a company called Tough Mudder
located at the foot of the Manhattan bridge. She has temporary housing
on a pull out couch at a friend of a friend of a friend for a few days
or a week or so. She now has a strong possibility for other additional
housing for the duration of her internship. But it is not a sure
thing. We should know later next week.

We are still investigating other possibilities should the additional
housing fall through.

If you have a room for Oct, Nov, Dec at someone's home or a share of
an apartment please let me know. She can pay some room and board or
her share of the rent (thought her internship is low paying). Ideally
she would like the door to door commute to her office to be about an
hour or less. She will be traveling fairly often during her internship
(I think mainly on weekends).

Feel free to contact me by this email or phone numbers listed below.

She is a really good kid from a small town in VA.

Thank you so much.

God Bless.
