Is there an easy way to duplicate a build configuration?

We branch our code fairly frequently and do our development there
before merging back to trunk. In general, we'd like to test any of
those active branches with the same slave platforms that trunk gets
checked on, but copying all of the build recipe info, and especially
all of the platform specifications, using the web interface seems
pretty cumbersome. Frequently, the repository path is the only
difference.
Is there any straightforward way to say "I want a new build
configuration just like an existing one"?
