oauth - INVALID_CLIENT_ID

Hello,

For some reason our application has stopped allowing bit.ly oauth for
end users and returns a 500 error of INVALID_CLIENT_ID. It used to
work and then recently stopped in the last couple of weeks. I am 100%
sure I am sending the correct client_id and client_secret.

I have tried creating another application and it returns the same
error so it appears there is an error with the application setup
maybe? Any ideas?
