If your question really is just which one of those steps applies to
your situation, it is an easy one, though perhaps this means I'm
misunderstanding. The host system for TEMU 1.0 is always Linux, while
Windows and Linux are the best supported guest systems. So the
"Windows-based" versus "Linux-based" terminology is referring to the
guest OS. In your case, your guest OS is Windows, so you should follow
the directions under "Windows-based VMs", inside the guest system.
