AXF compiler error code -2
Toolbook 10.5 Windows 8 I have suddenly started getting errors when publishing quiz modules to DHTML. It started with one book but then when I experimented with other quiz books I find that I am getting exactly the same behaviour. In every case, I have narrowed it down to the last page in each book that has the... more »

Web content not working in IE 10.0
Always perplexes me when the same content works in one version of IE (8) but not another (10 on a Win 8 machine). It does beg the question "why"? Of course, I don't have the slightest idea ... thus the post. In IE 10 the content loads but any attempt to navigate beyond the first page generates a "Message from webpage" to the effect "the following error... more »

HTML 5 Video Player?
Hi Clifton, Were it not for you and the PowerPac, I'd have to really re-evaluate my continued use of Toolbook. I was hoping that someone from STS would respond to this question and offer some encouragement. I'm hoping their silence isn't all the response we will see. I haven't looked lately so I don't know what open source HTML 5 video... more »

HTML 5 Video Player?
Hi there, A few months ago we heard in a semi-official manner that a new HTML5 video player was in the works for Toolbook. We were even told it would be released as an update to the current version of Toolbook. Has anyone heard anything further on this subject? My support contract expires in another couple of months and I need to... more »

ToolBook 10.5 Voice Recording
Publishing for DHTML, Using ToolBook 10.5 Voice recording feature on a page (Not Universal Media Player) is there a way to keep the sound from playing when you return to a page after the page has been previously visited? Don't want to turn the sound off globally, just want sound to play once on 1st page visit.... more »

Win 8 and network issues ...
I posted awhile back that my new Win 8 machine will not recognize any network drives from Toolbook or open any .tbk files on the school network. I never did get a response and am trying again to determine if this actually makes any sense to anyone. Could this simply be a network issue rather than a Toolbook/Win 8 issue.... more »

Video Formats
I'm a bit late to this thread but... One of the third-party LMSs that I am trialling will only permit the use of the mpeg 4 format. In fact, the upload instructions advise that all video formats will be converted to mpeg 4 during the process. I don't know if that is the standard for other LMSs but if LMS deployment is a... more »

Fatal Error interpretation
I must confess I get these often ... too often ... stress really isn't good for ya. I'd be much obliged if someone could shine some wisdom on this particular fatal error that pops on AXF conversion. "Unexpected Error Invalid element "Movie" in context of "Question". Expected (Action, Annotation, etc.etc) Nothing shows in any error report ... or validation... more »
