Job Description:
Experience in C++, STL, Unix/Shell is required.
This person will be working with a team that is responsible for
architecture and development of a system that implements financial
models and numerical algorithms and makes them available through
textual and programmatic interfaces. The individual will be involved
in development of financial and other modules and ensuring high code
quality and efficiency. The person will also be responsible for
thorough code documentation and unit testing. The candidate must have
a proven ability to use object-oriented design principles and
efficient coding techniques in C++. The candidate should be able to
evaluate and adapt to new technologies. The candidate should possess
analytical skills to be able to understand financial modeling and
algorithms as well as business functions and translate them into
technical specifications.
Required Skills:
MS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
2 or more years experience in C++ and object-oriented design and
programming.
Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and critique
development solutions.
Experience in the following is required: C++, STL, and Unix/Shell.
Experience in some of the following is preferred: Numerical
algorithms, financial applications, Perl, XML and Java.
