In the UNIX world, you can place a printer anywhere without having
a PC attached to it, you just string a serial line to the printer.
Can the same be done in the Novell world?
In other words, do all printers in a Netware environment have to
be attached to a PC?

The answer is: heck, no! We don't have a single printer on
our Netware network that is hooked to a pc. We have HP's with
the Jet Direct cards and Compaq Pagemarqs with the NETLINQ option.
Check out the HP 4si/MX. That's network ready. Just string a
10-base-T wire to the card...
