printing problems and Ibid problems

I don't remember whether you are adding the /w switch in your NB shortcut.
If so, that may be the problem; according to NB it is intended only for Win
3.x, not for Win95. It changes the way the keyboard works, especially in Ibid.

Thanks to Paul's great answer on printer problems. I think that has
remedied all the printer problems, especially since I had been getting
"Spooler" error messages. Therefore, in the "no good deed should go
unpunished" category, I will ask if anyone has seen and subsequently solved
a situation in which, again, using NB4.2 in Win95, if you try to use Ibid,
the cursor cycles through the initial Ibid Lookup screen, essentially
requiring a C-S-A-Esc to kill NB and get out. Essentially, if I want to use
Ibid, I have to do it in a DOS session rather than a windowed session. Any
ideas what setting I don't have right?

At least some of your symptoms can be caused by conflicts with the Win95
print spooler. If this is the cause it can be remedied by turning off
spooling of print jobs from DOS programs. This setting is located in the
printer object properties (not in the program shortcut).
