I don't remember whether you are adding the /w switch in your NB shortcut.
If so, that may be the problem; according to NB it is intended only for Win
3.x, not for Win95. It changes the way the keyboard works, especially in Ibid.

At least some of your symptoms can be caused by conflicts with the Win95
print spooler. If this is the cause it can be remedied by turning off
spooling of print jobs from DOS programs. This setting is located in the
printer object properties (not in the program shortcut).
