Primary Option Menus
Hi All, What is the "proper" way to handle, in DTL, the selection of an item off a Primary Option Menu? I created one and put <PS> properties to it, so that when a user "points and shoots", the selection # is displayed in the cmdarea, so all they need to do is hit enter. In this manner, what is returned to the program is the selection number of the option. However, the programmer on this project wants the name of selection instead. For example, given the following:... more »

DTL and CUA Compliance
Hi All, I am writing an application using DTL; with a desire to keep things CUA-compliant. Early on, I ran into CUA warnings regarding a keylist, as explained below: 1) I am attempting to define a keylist, as follows, in one of my DTL source members, but at conversion time (ISPDTLC), I get the ISPC150W... more »

MVSHELP dot NET
Pardon me if this is inappropriate but I had no other ideas on how to get this question answered. Today, 12/29/2009, I went to mvshelp.net [as is my daily custom] and I see a GoDaddy "Buy this Domain Name" page. I know Bre [Mike] had the site up for sale, but did it just die overnight? It work per usual last night.... more »

How can I update REFLIST ?
Hello: When I display REFLIST, I see the names of the last 30 non-VSAM data sets I BROWSEd, but NOT of the VSAM files I BROWSEd using the BR command. On my system, I told ISPF to use BR when the user tries to BROWSE a VSAM file. On DSLIST, when I BROWSE a VSAM file using the B command, REFLIST is updated.... more »

Shared profile question:
...<snip> Default command table entry for SDSF? No such animal that I know of. If you see one in your ISPCMDS, someone must have modified the IBM ISPCMDS (instead of using SITECMDS). (unless this was added in z/OS 1.11, which I don't have access to yet). Mark
