VSAM CA Splits, still a performance problem?

Hello, In the old days,CA splits were quite detrimental to performance of VSAM applications. In today's world with lots of cache in modern DASD systems, are CA splits still a concern? Hi Assuming, prog1 loaded and BASRd to prog2. Assume prog2 loaded and BASRd to prog3. I am now in prog3. If I were to walk from the PSA into TCB, into RB, and looked at field RBCDE1, I go into the CDE. Which of the three modules will be mentioned in the CDE? Thanks

Copy from JES2 to a file

How can I copy a listing from JES2 to a file. I know in JES2 I can use SE to "edit" the ouput, but I'm not good enough with SDSF to know how to save that to a file somewhere.
