Good day
We are running an IBM monitor to intercept every OPEN and READ looking for EAV (extended accessability? Volumes) compliancy - we have found a load module DBIDDBA to be non-compliant
but our DBA group has no idea to what purchased application this load module belongs - is anyone on this list familiar with this load module as to its owning product?

Thanks in advance

Are there any eye catchers in the module to suggest a vendor or product?

Where does it live? pfx.PRODUCT.VRM.loadlib If it's in LINKLST then isrddn
should find it. Otherwise have to look at the DB/2 STC jcl for loadlibs.

Thanks to all - by spying on the user's TSO session to see what "tools" he/she was accessing during the session, I found the "tool" to be File Aid for DB2

Again thanks to everyone for their comments and helpful suggestions

Really? File-Aid doesn't support EAV?! I would have expected it to be
one of the first products to support them! Maybe you just need to
upgrade to the latest release...

All,

See below:

File-AID products do support EAV and that the customer should contact our Customer Support @ http://go.compuware.com or 1-800 538-7822 so that this issue can be handled appropriately.

I don't know, or remember, what the OP used to do this detection. But
this might be a false negative. Scanning load modules is usually an
iffy proposition in my opinion for anything more than eye catchers.
