I discover that the manuals now send me to a web for
rather than supplying an email address. I filled
out the form. I have gotten no response, not even an
automated acknowledgement (a tracking number would
be nice).
It's possible that I mistyped my email address on the
RCF form. What have others experienced? Do you get
acknowledgements? Does "Submit" supply a tracking
number that I may have overlooked?
HLASM UG, if it makes a difference.

Are you referring to the Contact z/OS form at:
http://www.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/webqs.html
If so, I receive that form's submissions and pass them on to our RCF
coordinator
who passes them on to the pub owner who will provide a response.
I haven't seen anything from Paul Gilmartin. If the form sent
successfully, you should
have seen a "Thank you" page acknowledging that it had sent successfully.
Did you
see that page?
Also, when you say a few weeks ago, does that mean sometime in November?
October?
September?
Also, on the form itself is my email address that you can use if you
encounter problems submitting
the form.
Let me know how I can help.
Thanks, Leo

Yes.

Don't remember. I resubmitted just now, and I do see one.
And I mailed the page to myself. Hmmm. It cleared the
page before I mailed it. I'll need to remember to select
"New Tab" on the Submit button if I do this again.

The last update to my test case was November 2, but I may have
added a footnote days after the RCF.

I see it.

A tracking number would be nice. Ugh. That requires two-way
communication with the DB to assign one and retrieve it. But
a timestamp (YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss) on the "Thank you" would be
almost as good as a tracking number, except for the occasional
coincidence.
Thanks again,
