The American Fathers Coalition has made significant
contributions to our movement at the National Level
mainly thru the efforts of both Bill Harrington and Stuart
Miller. And I assure you, AFC is worthy of all aspects
of our support.
As chair of the National Issues Committee, I am very
familiar with many fathers rights organizations from
throughout the country. There seems to be one
characteristic common to most of these organizations and
that is the in-fighting that takes place. I herein make
a plea ... please minimize the in-fighting or at least
keep it under control within the organization if possible.
In-fighting, when it goes out of control, only serves to
set back our cause. So let's be very careful when we decide
to go on a campaign attacking one of our colleagues'
individuality. There are appropriate and inappropriate
ways of doing it. Let's choose the appropriate way for
the sake of our children which is, when you think about
it, what our movement is really all about.
