Classroom AV Equipment Housings

Over the past few years when we have installed a ceiling mounted video
projector connected to a cart containing a computer, document camera and
DVD/VHS player we have used a rolling luxor cart to hold all the equipment.
The cart is connected to the wall and from wall through ceiling to connect
to the video projector. We are interested in making the instructor cart a
permanent install e.g. counter and cabinet connected to the wall. This would
eliminate cables across the floor and removing and disconnecting over breaks
for classroom cleaning. Is anyone using something commercial to hold
equipment or are they having custom cabinetry built. Most of the areas are
general multi-purpose classrooms that seat 30-60 students. Not a lot of
space. I am interested in any ideas anyone has about what has worked at
their schools.
