Professionals,
We are looking at Nebraska state and national media and technology
standards to help us write our district's standards. One question that was
asked is
What does the national media standards say about the amount of time
students should receive media/technology instruction per week---in
minutes? For example, the PE standards recommend at least 150 minutes a
week for K thru 6. Is there a set amount of time for media classes or
technology classes at this time?
What does your district/state allot for these classes? Are the
technology/computer classes separate from the media/library skills classes?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
