Hi All,

I'll be teaching a Filemaker Pro class in the fall and would like some ideas
that teachers/students in a K-8 school district might use.

I'm looking forward to hearing from all of you on EdTech.

Thanks!M. Diane Jensen...@hotmail.com

I've had good luck with students as young as 3rd grade gathering facts about
their classmates and teachers, putting them into a database and then using
the DB as the resource for answering questions in a trivia game such as
Family Feud.

I would suggest you take a look at Bento, a much better database for K-8
students from the makers of FileMaker Pro.

*50 Ways You Can Put Bento to Use Today

Lynda.com's Bento Essential Training - online or CD set

Also take a look at Inspire Data, from the makers of Inspiration. A great way
to get students to visualize data.
