I looked over some of these and have some concerns. Your policy needs to
be in accord with the CIPA safety plan requirements. There are some
specific requirements that you must address.

Also it does not appear that any of these policies have been updated to
address web 2.0 issues. I am working on materials about this - but some
other materials will be released sooner.

Today I finished up work on what will be the presentation notes for 2
hour presentation on Internet safety. This will be a video program - a
narrated slides presentation. I will provide material so teachers who
watch it should be able to get continuing education hours. I also have a
scope and sequence covering Internet safety. K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, and
9-12. There will be student handouts for each grade level. And I will
work with some other folks to set up an environment where teachers can
submit lesson plans.

This should be ready early January.
