Thank so much for this. I have never received a letter of "invitation" to an
IEP meeting before the meeting. They always hand me one at the meeting as a
formality. Maybe it's because I'm always the one calling the meetings. I've
never pushed them on this issue because we have a good relationship but
perhaps because I am adding a couple new factors to the mix it would be in
my best interest. And we have had meetings where some school folks have
shown up that I wasn't expecting.
