April paperbacks

I'm sitting here with my Poisoned Pen and Drood Review trying to
figure out what to order right now of the new April paperbacks and
I'm a bit at a loss. Can anyone who's familiar with the following
titles clue me in on whether I might like to read them?

MacLean, Charles: SILENCE
Recknor, Ellen: LEAVING MISSOURI
Savarin, Julian Jay: MACALLISTER'S TASK
Stuyck, Karen Hanson: LETHAL LESSONS
Sullivan Winona: DEAD SOUTH

I have no idea what these books are about or even whether they're
mysteries. I order about this time sight unseen. If I make a mistake
it's expensive and it's hard for me to order older books so I don't
