I have just received my placement for student teaching and it is in a
program described as "Inclusion." Is this the same thing as Mainstreamed
with an interpreter or is this a classroom with both deaf and hearing
children with both a teacher for the deaf and a regular teacher in it?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I am an Interpreter/Tutor for an 8 year old child at Kalamunda
Primary School and we are told that this is called Inclusion. This
means that there is the Deaf child and myself in a class with other
hearing children and a Hearing Teacher.

Hope this info will help.
