1. The university employs students at basically every point in the
campus. Besides the library, they work in the cafeteria, athletic
complex, department offices, administrative offices, etc.

2. We pay only minimum wage. This is university policy and applies
to both the work-study students and the students we employ on a part-
time basis. We cannot give raises of any kind, although I do try to
reward the better employees with the duties they prefer and/or preference
in scheduling hours.
