Just wanna know what is Trini Alvarado's film before her role in "The
Frighteners". She looks like young Andy McDowell.
Any one can tell me her biodata?

She's been in Satisfaction (look for Julia Roberts and Liam Neeson in their
before celebrity status), Stella, and Little Women. This is all I remember
off hand, but I'm sure you can get her filmography from the Internet
Database Website or look it up in any film guide.

As a tangent, I found the Frighteners a very surrealistic movie - quite
apart from the plot and effects that were pretty surrealistic in
themselves. For me, the surrealism lay in the way it was filmed in a New
Zealand city, Wellington, a place I know pretty well and yet here were all
these Americans rushing around talking about like it was somewhere in
America. The other surrealistic factor was that it was NZ directed and
most stars were American but here and there were NZ stars wandering in and
out in small roles like ghosts themeselves. All 'n' all, a pretty
disorienting movie.

"Well" said Pooh, "what I like best...." and then he had to stop and
think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there
was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when
you were, but he didn't know what it was called.

Except that Trini can really act...
And has moreover been in business much longer than MacDowell,
despite her much younger age, but she's nevertheless still
practically unknown.

For expanded info on Trini Alvarado and her works check out my
website at:

That should give you some idea of the range of works and timespan
of her (shamefully ignored) career.
