O.K. so here's the deal. I still have a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate
burning a hole in my computer. Please recommend ways that I can spend it.

May I suggest you use the catalog on Amazon.com, but cash out, and visit
the Artist site to purchase directly, if possible. The Artist will
thank you.

Whenever possible I always buy from the artist direct. I don't think this
is one of those cases... but thanks for the reminder.

When I was about to buy Diana Krall's new album I tried to buy it direct
from her, but her security guards wouldn't let me in ;-p

p.s. And Bob Dylan refuses to give out his email address, even to his fans!
p.p.s. I think stores are actually a good idea.

If you don't already have it, spend part of it on Bill Wyman's Blues

You might have to throw in ten bucks, but I would go for "Doctors -
Professors - Kings & Queens: The Big Ol' Box of New Orleans." If you want to
read a review, it is in the current Blues Revue and will be in BluesWax this
week. The book alone is a great buy! Chip

I've seen your wife and she doesn't look at all like Santa Claus. She's
quite nice looking in fact. But with a bit more facial hair you might a
convincing Santa ;-)
