So, an old friend from my wilder Alaska days recently sent me a copy of some
live performances (circa 1983/1984) of my ex-husband's band, Dry Creek. At
the time I was unaware of how good this band really was It was my first
introduction to bluegrass music...and the beginning of the usual life of
trouble when you fall in love with a professional musician. But I digress...

Most of the material was pretty standard stuff, but there is a haunting gospel
song that I haven't heard since and I'm wondering if all the brain power out
there might be able to help me locate where it originated.

It's in a minor key and the chorus is:

"Lord, don't leave my soul all alone
I've done a deed that I know is wrong
I know is wrong"

Also, anybody out there ever run across a fellow named Glen Ashley? Glen was
their lead singer and he move back to Arkansas in 1984 or 1985.
