We're expanding our scope!!!!

Corporate Network Experts - we need you...
The Association of BANYAN Users International (ABUI) is recruiting speakers for
its April 20-23, 1997 Conference to be held at the Reno Hilton, Reno, Nevada.
Speakers are also needed for Post Conference Training Seminars.  Training will
be held Thursday and Friday, April 24 & 25.

CONFERENCE DIRECTION:  Networking is not about getting rid of the old for
something new, it s about adding value to the existing environment! To keep pace
with BANYAN and our evolving market, we are expanding the focus of our
conference. In addition to discussing and disseminating information on VINES,
StreetTalk, and other BANYAN products we will also do the same with NT, the
Internet and intranets. In addition, we will also provide a Developer Conference
that offers highly technical sessions for several areas of development. Our
ultimate goal is to educate and provide information related to networking
solutions for corporate networks of all sizes and scales, address the
professional growth needs of our members, and to promote interoperability
between different vendors.  Doing this will allow us to better service our
members needs.

BENEFIT:  As a speaker you will be marketed in the conference brochure, mailed
to thousands of networking professionals and on ABUI s web site, www.abui.org.
You will also receive free admission into the full conference.

RESPOND TO: Lisa Byrne at ABUI Headquarters via mail, fax, or email at the
contact info below.  Interested candidates must respond by forwarding their full
contact information, a brief bio, the title of the presentation, a 200 word
description of the presentation(s) as well as a 50 word description for
marketing purposes, and what track (see below)you feel it would best apply. In
addition, we require two references from past speaking engagements.

DEADLINE: November 4, 1996. Limited space is available...don t wait.

SELECTION PROCESS: All presentations will be reviewed by the program advisory
council and selected based upon applicability to program, technical content and
speaker experience. Presentations should be technical in nature and fit into the
theme of the conference.  A brief conference outline is provided below.
