DEAR RUTH ALLEN: WOULD YOU PLEASE TAKE MIKE HACKETT ONTO YOUR LIST? MAYBE IF YOU DO HE'LL STOP DRIVING EVERYBODY HERE CRAZY. WE CAN'T VOUCH FOR HIS BEHAVIOR, BUT IF HE BREAKS ANYTHING WE'LL PAY FOR IT. THANK YOU.
And yes, Mike, I did indeed ask all 907 members of the list if they agree with this. And they do. Best, Jess

Sorry Jess, As one of the original ME listers I am pretty confident although its not my decision to make that this ain't gonna happen anytime soon. In fact if it does I am changing my gender, getting a passport and leaving the autism world behind. (Do you think I can convince my son to act incognito so nobody will know!)
Dear Jenny, According to Jess, YOU LOSE !!! 907-1. Tell Ruth Good-bye for you and Hello for me. Were you referring an actual gender changing operation for yourself, or did you mean just pretending to change gender by wearing clothes of the opposite sex?? Fortunately, you don't need a passport to get off this list or out of Louisiana!! Your reference to "incognito" is kind of wierd. What does that mean? Mike . . Dear Mike, I guess I would prefer just wearing the clothes and forgo the surgery. (Besides this is a joke, so I don't really have to go anywhere unless I want to or I do something so unforgivable the powers that be throw me off.) Sorry, I don't have that much power to make people change their minds nor would I try. As you stated so well you are allowed your opinions and views and other people hold theirs. I said incognito, because if I was "fleeing" and my son was going to accompany me he would have to do it in utter disguise meaning no autistic behavior, hence incognito, unknown, unnoticable. (Strangers have asked if he has autism before. He's not a low profile type.) Lastly, I don't live in Louisiana. Never have. Actually, I don't think I've been there at all, although I would enjoy seeing New Orleans as well as visiting a few families I know. But, thanks...and I think I know about the passport thanks. Jennie

I have been watching the little "word games" that you all have with M. Hackett. I have read a lot of what he says on both this list and the alt.support.autism list. Mike, you have a lot of good things to say and are supportive on the alt list. Why do you bother to stay on this list if you don't have anything nice to say and everyone pisses you off all the time? I have been waiting a long time to ask this question! Oh, and one more thing. I missed this the first time around. Why are you so anti-Catholic? Did a Catholic piss you off too, or are you just prejudiced against ALL Catholics? No flaming intended, just curious.

Dear Judy, I have been gang-flamed probably over a thousand times on this list in the past year. I consider your assessment of me here below to be a flame as you have tried here to set me up in the eyes of others as "anti-Catholic", pissed off, and you have insinuated here below that I should quit the list, that I don't have anything nice to say, etc, etc. Just tacking a "No flaming intended, just curious" to the end of the flame is like peeing on a bonfire -- everybody can see it does not undo the flames. Before the Censorship Panel was "elected" recently, people were run off this list by a handful for rabid flamers, nothing seems to have changed. Mike . .

Dear Mike, What I said in my previous post was nothing more than my observations of the posts I have seen written by you. You told everyone here about the alt.support.autism list and I am grateful for that. You seem so supportive on the alt list. I only see anger and complaints in your posts on this list. That is why I asked if you aren't happy with this list, why do you continue to subscribe? I subscribed to get support and information about autism, not to see the "word games" that go on constantly. I will admit that I did delete you for a while, but then I saw what you were contributing to the alt list, and I started reading your posts on this list again. Judy

Mike, I agree with Judy. We joined this list for support and information, not to hear the anger and complaints every time there is a message from you! Connie

Dear Connie and Judy, Please feel free to delete any posting that carries my name. You may also delete the postings of people who can't control their anger and complaints. Mike . .
