Our agency, Picade, is close to its launch date whill will be in early  2007. Our launch will be preceded by a photo essay in the December issue of Picture Professional, the quarterly magazine published by the American Society of Picture Professionals.We have created a site that gives an idea of who currently is a member and the nature and quality of their work. This agency endeavor of ours represents photographers fighting back against those agencies that pay too little, steadily cut their royalty payments, and in general treat photographers as very disposable entities.

Our royalty payment is to be 55% plus a share of profits. For the moment, members are given two shares in our LLC company, based in Chicago.  We will be marketing images internationally..We have a very professional, vastly experienced manager.

Our agency has been created and funded  by a hard working group of its members. Any income generated belongs to its members: we have no outside shareholders.

We do have a review committee that looks very critically at photographers portfolios.
