About 6 months ago my images were accepted for upload to the Getty
site through an intermediate provider. I started with a fairly small
number in order to see if the monthly returns were worth committing a
larger number given that it's an exclusive contract. So far I've been
pleased with the monthly paycheck and the consistency of sales from
month to month. My question for Getty photographers is, has the value
of your images diminished over time? For example, at one point I
uploaded a lot of images to Alamy and my returns were good for about
six months. Then they dropped off precipitously and eventually went
almost to zero. I speculate the reason is that there are so many
images being uploaded that within a fairly short time images get
buried and rarely seen even with good keywording. Has anyone
experienced this happening at Getty?

Thanks for your input,

Bill Stevenson
